Introduction to Decontamination
A comprehensive introduction designed to quickly bring you up to speed on Decontamination. This course sets out the fundamentals of decontamination science and the structure/purpose of a Sterile Services department. An excellent complimentary offering to take alongside our other leadership courses for new leaders.
Ideal for new Decontamination Leads who perhaps don’t have a background in the subject, or for people external or adjacent to Sterile Services wishing for a foundational understanding.
Delivered at one of our two training locations across the UK (North or South, whichever is closest to you) or alternatively if you require a group to be trained, one of our expert trainers can attend your site.
Delivered over 1 day, this course precedes our leadership courses as an optional introduction but can be taken as a standalone course.
Assessment is delivered via a written test hosted on our platform. Learner certification is also provided.
All learning materials remain accessible for 12 months on our platform for reference.
