Decontamination Lead
This course is an advanced programme designed for Decontamination Leads working within Sterile Services. The course includes a comprehensive introduction to the scientific theory underpinning the department as well as the regulations and standards that govern it. These are then set against the context of the various roles and responsibilities within the department, and the range of equipment that is required to be maintained. Also included are modules specifically designed to support senior leadership including quality management, internal customer care and decontamination leadership.

Delivered over 3.5 days
Assessment is delivered via a written test hosted on our platform. Learner certification is also provided.
All learning materials remain accessible for 12 months on our platform for reference. Ongoing support is also available via our helpdesk.
