This advanced course is specifically designed for the APD within a Sterile Services Department. As such it provides a deep dive into the scientific theory governing Sterile Services and the various rules and regulations surrounding those principles. It then looks at the entire range of decontamination machinery and the testing requirements for each one in detail. Our most detailed technical course, this comprehensive offering equips APD’s to effectively lead their teams as resident experts.

Assessment is delivered via a written test hosted on our platform. Learner certification is also provided.
All learning materials remain accessible for 12 months on our platform for reference. Ongoing support is also available via our helpdesk.
