Decontamination User/Supervisor
This course is an advanced programme designed for senior staff working within Sterile Services. The course includes a comprehensive introduction to the theory of water, steam, microbiology, additives, etc. alongside the regulations and standards at work within Sterile Services. These are then expanded out into the roles and responsibilities in the department, introducing the range of equipment, its functions and testing requirements. Also included are modules on internal auditing, transport and storage, and support with internal customers.
Ideal for Users and Decontamination Supervisors, as well as senior operational managers with responsibility involving Sterile Services.
Delivered at one of our two training locations across the UK (North or South, whichever is closest to you) or alternatively our expert trainer can attend your site for added convenience.
Delivered over 3.5 days.
Assessment is delivered via a written test hosted on our platform. Learner certification is also provided.
All learning materials remain accessible for 12 months on our platform for reference. Ongoing support is also available via our helpdesk.
