Brief history:

All Things Decontamination was founded in 2023 by Tony Sullivan.

Tony had been working in the NHS delivering training on decontamination. His training programme was accredited by the Royal Society of Public Health and it helped hundreds of care homes, GP practices and wards stay open during the pandemic by showing staff the best way to stay safe and keep others safe too.

When he left the NHS, Tony established himself as one of the foremost decontamination trainers in the UK, working with the biggest providers and supporting a number of NHS Trusts in a consulting role.

Thanks to his success, ATD has grown up around him, supporting best practice across the whole scope of decontamination from consumables to machines to quality practices and audits.

Now boasting a rich platform of high-end training content and a diverse range of best-in-class products, All Things Decontamination continues to cement its place as a leading light in the world of decontamination.

Meet the Team:

Tony Sullivan:

Think of a role in decontamination, and Tony Sullivan has done it.

After spending 23 years in the RAF as an electrical engineer, Tony moved into the world of decontamination where over 15 years he moved from being a service engineer to managing a national team for one of the global leading companies in decontamination.

He moved on to spend 7 years as a decontamination manager in the NHS, during which time he joined the Institute of Decontamination Science and served as its Chairman for a term.

Searching for a new challenge, Tony launched All Things Decontamination where he has gone on to offer his singular expertise to leaders in the industry, both NHS and private.

Tony pairs his engineering know-how with an encyclopaedic knowledge of the industry that gives him a unique insight into what makes the difference between good and great when it comes to decontamination.

Dan Sullivan:

Inspired by his Dad’s work in the field, Dan left his role as a primary school teacher to deliver training in decontamination informed by his professional training as an educator.

Dan has run a diverse number of commercial training projects within the NHS including a children’s mental health course for school staff and a cleaning audit service for primary care providers.

He was also responsible for project managing the development and launch of the NHS Implant Analysis Service providing specialist support to orthopaedic surgeons.

With experience of leading commercial teams in Sales, Marketing and Innovation, Dan now brings this experience to ATD with responsibility for its commercial development and content management.
